In NC. I have had a wreck but i think we paid to get it taken care of. Am i going to have to take another test or the eye test or something again? Or do i just have to pay and take a new picture. I will be upgrading from the provisional license you get when your 16 to the full license at 18.

Thanks

Most states don't ask you to take the written test over again if you have already passed it.. As noted earlier, you will probably have to take the eye exam and have your picture taken - but that would be about it..

Yes, I wear glassess and only needed them to read with. In my 20s I could pass the eye exam without needing my glasses, but now days I need them, and I have a letter code on my driver's license saying so. However, my vision is correctable to 20/20 and it will be for a long time so I am not so bad.

You may have to take the eye test again, that's just par for the course as they want to make sure you know your signs and of course that you don't have trouble with your vision. You shouldn't have to take the written or driving test but it is totally up to the examiner and what kind of mood they are in. I would go prepared for the worst and breathe a sigh of relief when they take your picture.
