I have been on it for over 4 years (formerly known as Yasmin, now name has been changed to Yaz). Yaz is the so-called new and improved version and provides more of a problem-free type of birth control. I really like it and have always liked it even before it was revised. I even had a baby in between taking it (a planned pregnancy in which I discontinued the pill). I liked it so much that I started taking it again after the baby was born instead of choosing a new brand. I have never experienced break-through bleeding on it, I always start my period the same day every month, I did not have problems getting pregnant after discontinuing it when I was family planning, and generally experience no side effects from it. I do have the natural tendency to gain a few pounds on the pill (my own flaw probably having nothing to do with the pill) but what is a bonus with Yaz is the DRSP component in it (responds to body similar to a water pill)- so this definitely helps with getting bloated. Personally, I like it and at the doctor's office I worked at for several years (prior to having baby), YAZ is very commonly prescribed and a favorite among many of the patient's that I helped care for. Everyone's body is different, but I think that you will probably find it to be one of the better birth control pills available out there. :)
