A braxton hicks contraction is the uterus contracting to prepare for childbirth, it's like little contractions and your stomach gets hard around your baby. The baby will only kick at one place! There's a huge difference!! You'll see when you get there!

well one is your child actually kicking you and the other is let's call them practice contractions. Braxton Hicks usually occur in the last trimester and feel different to different people. For me, braxton hicks felt like my stomach was tightening and they would last about 45 seconds. Kind of like you were doing stomach toning exercises without your control.

there is a big difference b/w bh and the kicking of the baby. for one you just feel the movement in one place with a kick. now when the baby is alot bigger it is alil difficult to distinguish bw bh and the baby rolling. bh are just tightings of the uterus. your stomach will get reallllllly hard and sometimes they are painful and sometimes they aren't
