The FBI for the year 2005 reported 16,692 persons were killed in the United States. They also reported 17,029 offenders in homicides. Whites made up only 5,452 of the offenders while blacks made up 6,376. Blacks in the US make up 19% of the population while Whites make up 66%. Yet in 2005, with a much lower percentage of population, blacks made up a larger number of homocide offenses.
Everyone instead of looking at the facts, they call me racists, what if I am, that still doesn't deny the facts provided by our own Governments FBI and Census. Why are Americans brainwashed?

Regretfully I have to agree with you and I am a veteran from the 'Viet Nam era' (meaning I didn't have to serve overseas). I loved my job but inside I felt like a piece of property owned by the government and could basically be made to do anything they wanted. I love my country but it is becoming a third world nation in its concern for the average person: health care, child care, senior and disabled care, education among the neediest, while the rich keep getting richer. We have so much to be thankful for and we are just wasting resources and polluting the soil, air and water without any regard for the next generation or the rest of the world. It is always the bottom line-- no matter who gets hurt in the process. There are too many people who are fighting for the power and money but not enough people who are fighting back. Yes they are dumbing us down so that they can do what they want and we won't even blink. We'll stand by and let these sobs in power take us into another war and not have enough sense to say "stop, no more". I don't want to leave this country -- I WANT TO MAKE IT BETTER. I just don't know how. This is where the feeling of being overwhelmed comes in. Let's bring our kids back from the war zone and stop being the big brother for the whole world. Let's fix it here before we try to fix it somewhere else.

If your facts (If that is what these numbers truly are) are correct, then your question contains the answer. Sympathy, as you call it, is the first step towards understanding. Understanding leads to common purpose which should be to amend the conditions which cause violence to thrive. Tell me again who committed the genocide of the indigenous peoples of North and South America? People like you. Without sympathy, understanding or remorse. These crime stats you mention, I wonder how large a part monetary gaines figured into them. If that is the case, no one is a bigger armed robber and mass murderer than the European white man. That's just a fact, too. Oh yeah, I forgot. Devils like you suck!

Okay-you're a Nazi, but look at the reality--there is always more violence and crime in poor areas, which do seem to be heavily minority populated--poverty leads to despair which leads to drug use and drug use to murder. It is a vicious cycle and until we can stop generational welfare (which barely keeps these people up to the poverty level in the first place), it won't end. These people need better education, job training and hope. They need help--your hate only aggravates the problem.

Perhaps the reason there are more crimes committed by Black people is because they live in squalor with no hope for the future. Many are moving ahead but it is difficult to overcome hundreds of years of oppression. It is no wonder they might have trouble with family structure—for centuries their families were snatched from them. It is time to lift up our black citizens and give them hope for a future.
Racist hate has no place in America.

There are many reasons for the numbers being skewed like they are. We have the best law money can buy, if you get a public defender chances are you will go to jail.
In America you can be a raciest if you like. Remember though, there really is only one race, and that is Human.

Because who cares? Crimes are crimes. There could be a 12% population of purple people who killed 98749065 people. Killers are killers and it's all wrong. White people killing are wrong, black people killing are wrong. Nobody should ever kill anyone. It doesn't matter who does more of it. Not all Black people are murderers. And white people probably just get away with it more.
