Thinning/holes that form in the bones, mostly of women
Osteoporosis is a disease of bone in which the bone mineral density (BMD) is reduced, bone microarchitecture is disrupted, and the amount and variety of non-collagenous proteins in bone is altered. Osteoporotic bones are more susceptible to fracture. Osteoporosis is defined by the World Health Organization (WHO) as either a bone mineral density 2.5 standard deviations below peak bone mass (20-year-old person standard) as measured by DXA, or any fragility fracture. While treatment modalities are becoming available, prevention is still the most important way to reduce fracture. Due to its hormonal component, more women, particularly after menopause, suffer from osteoporosis than men.

You don’t need to exercise for hours on end. Short, sharp sets of exercise will produce better results if you work hard. Get a skipping rope, skip for two units, do push ups for about a minute, skip for two minutes, rest for example minute. Then change the push as much as something else like sit ups in addition to do the set again. Repeat it five times and it’s a quick, effective workout that will get better results than a long operate or swim.

Osteoporosis is condition that features loss of the normal density of bone and fragile bone. Osteoporosis leads to literally abnormally porous bone that is more compressible like a sponge, than dense like a brick. This disorder of the skeleton weakens the bone leading to an increase in the risk of breaking bones - it is also known as Brittle Bones

Music allows you to eat more. According to a study by the journal Psychology along with Marketing, soft, classical tunes encourage one to take time over your meal, so you consume more meals. So, switch off – silence can make you more aware of what you’re investing in your mouth.

Set performance-based goals. Always set yourself incrementally larger goals each week to ensure you’re engaged and have something to shoot for. Each little achievement is also a reward that you’re going in the proper direction. From doing 10 more squats to mastering a fresh yoga pose, whatever floats your current boat.

Don’t count calories after you consume. Check the calories before you dive in and you'll find it puts you off that extra chocolate chip candy bar.
