I saw on TV last night that McDonalds is planning a whole new look for their US restaurants. The roof and golden arches will be replaced by sleek new versions and inside will have couches moveable tables and wireless access. What do people think of this? And do you think Aussie stores will eventually follow suit?

I think the less vulgar the exterior (and the interior) the better! A McDonalds is an eye-sore on the landscape. I hope they DO tone down the exterior look.
If they put Internet access ports in McD's, people will just sit there taking up space and drinking a single coffee for hours. I don't believe that's a good idea.

McDonald's can change the surface as much as they want, but it's the same old crap food.

as with any business, the longer you can keep a customer in the store the more money they will spend!

Doesn't really make me any difference. I don't eat there anymore since my kids are grown.
