If you don't remember entering a lottery, then you didn't win. This is a pretty common scam (they want you to send personal information or "money to get money" etc.). IF IT SOUNDS TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE, 99% OF THE TIME IT ISN'T TRUE.

It is NOT valid. No lottery would ever notify a winner via email. And you cannot win a lottery you did not enter. And a real lottery will NEVER ask you to send them money before they send you your winnings.

Stay away from these - they send you a counterfeit check, then insist you use a money transfer service to return a portion of the check. Their check bounces and you are poorer.

If you recieved this through email, then i would bet $100.00 that it is a scam. 99.998% of all emails advertising this kind of stuff are scams, just delete them. Be careful, some of these emails may even contain viruses or spyware, so be wary of attachments.
