Things like coming in and not saying good morning, deleting e-mails and not telling me what their about, not saying good bye when going home. this includes my supervisor.
What do you think is the best solution for this problem.
Baring in mind i've never been in a senior postion before.
Even when we have temps in it feels like they turn them agaist me.
Most probably feeding pure lies to them
help me i'm aboout to explode with anger and believe me you wouldn't wanna see me when i'm angry.
I'm thinking this senior thing is not for me.
Positive feed back please.

Give respect and you will get respect
say Good morning/ Good bye first; you will get positive response
Praise their works/cars/children/sincerity and you will be accepted by them your senior etc. as per your position.

The first thing you must do is to look in the mirror. This is the hardest thing to do, but is necessary. What you see needs to be what other people see when they see you or think about you. Start by asking yourself, how do I treat others. Am I honest & fair with them. What would I do if the shoe was on the other foot. Do I micromanage? Then after you ask these as well as any others you can think of, re-evaluate yourself, and your disposition. Try to let go of any old grudges & remember you are a professional, so act like one. Once you do this you may see a change is people & how they treat you. Ask them for feedback as well, because they may have ideas that are invaluable, & if implementred, you will have they're total respect at this point. Good luck, be positive & extremely honest with yourself. You should be your own worst critic, but also your own best friend.

You have to keep your work and personal lives separate. I work for a buffoon who talks down to everybody and I simply ignore him. Let the narcissistic mega maniac nazi bullies have the place and say what they will. As long as you do your job to the best of your ability and perform competently all the trivial back biting and gossip will be meaningless in the big scheme of things. Maintain your own set of standards and don't concern yourself with those who would drag you down. Anger in the workplace is misspent energy. As you say 'stay positive' and worry more about your own issues rather than your perceptions of what other people think or say. The proof is in the performance. It isn't character defamation if it's true. Don't let their criticisms ever be true.

Leadership is not a function of position.

Dale Carnegie wrote How to Win Friends and Influence People. It's a best seller.
