Coz they aren't satisfied with their spouses, physically or otherwise. The other man or woman seems much more attractive to them in such respects. More and more women are coming out to work these days. Promiscuity is more. Values are eroding fast.
Not that these things happen nowadays only. They happened in the past too but were kept under wraps as society wasn't very liberal. But now with the loosening of value strings, these things have increased and people don't care.

MAny do no tunderstand what a marraige is all about and just look to the sexual aspect of it and having that taken care of
