Sounds like your pc is cold! Wrap it in a nice warm blanket and it will stop freezing;)

Clean, Clean, Clean!! Clean out your history, your temporary internet files and defrag your hard drive. And if you somewhat computer savvy defrag your registry (there are many free softwares downloads to do this), also try to defrag your boot directory (this will help your computer start faster and run smother). Hope this Helps As for the "contact your internet service provider", this is just a generic message. Another alternative is if you have XP or Vista you could do the following: XP 1. click START 2. click RUN 3. type "msconfig" 4. hit "enter" 5. on lower part of screen that pops up click on "launch system restore" 6. Click "next" if "Restore my computer to an earlier time" has its circle filed in 7. Pick a date in which your internet was working fine 8. Don't pick a date to far back, because you may lose software that you install since the date that you picked, but you should not lose save files from that installed software. Good Luck

i have the same problem, and i think this cause maybe your harddrive has a problem. Maybe corrupted files in your computer. Try to scan computer at least once a month. If that come again, there something related to the internet. Maybe internet explore 6 has a problem. Update internet explore 7 now.

sounds like you may have a virus - might be worth installing some virsu software and doing a check - you can get lots of free applications these days - e.g do a search for AVG and install the home edition.

Most machines also come with a free test for virus software.

virus scanners, ad-aware is another great product, and check your harddisk properties and run a disk clean up utility. I also highly suggest you defragment your harddisk to re-organize your files, you can do both of these by right clicking on your harddisk select properties to run the disk clean up utility, then select the tools tab and click on the defragment now button.

I had the same problem, it could be you cpu getting to warm and your fans are not cooling it down enough.

Try cleaning your Cpu fan, sould be dusty or pop over to your local computer store and ask for "freezing gel", your can line your cpu chip, ask them to do it too.

Congratulations, you've managed to download a rather old virus. Now you'll have to pay someone else some cash money to fix it for you since it won't stay operational long enough for you to do it yourself. Be more careful in the future.

If your computer hangs or reboots while you are working on it, it could be a problem with device drivers, hardware or software. Detailed instructions at http://tinyurl.com/yk5zpr
