Greetings!
One of the basic arguments in philosophy is " which would you rather have, rule by the people, or rule by the expert (intellect)".
So far for most of history it has been rule by the people.
If the world continues on its present course, then more than likely just to try something that might work, there will be a migration to being rule by the "intellect"
When that day comes I am afraid to say, that people in your predicament will be eliminated swiftly, and economically.
You neglect to understand we have already heard you, and do not like what you have to say.
Good Luck

I completely understand your delimema! I don't know what state you are in but a few Methadone clinics are trying a new (to them)
opiate treatment with Subutex or Suboxone. Subutex does not get you loaded or make you want to use more or other drugs while at the same time fills the opiate receptors in the brain. Suboxone contains both Subutex (bupenorophine) and Narcan or
nalexone--which if you know anything about overdoses, is what the hospitals and paramedics use to bring someone back from overdose by IV injection of Narcan. I have worked in the addiction field for many years and to the best of my ability I can only see the reason for the nalexone being added because they don't want addicts to "shoot up" the pills. Personally, I have seen the Subutex (Bupenorophine) work far better than the Suboxone, but most clinics have that untrusting nature and charge outrageous fees for Suboxone treatment. If you can find an addiction specialist (MD or Psych) to prescribe the Subutex with regular visits and a UA done every 3 months or so (Federal regulations), some prescription plans pay for the Subutex or Suboxone, but not all pharmacies carry it as stock. I am in New Mexico and have seen a great many people using Subutex with wonderful results so don't dispair--they did a lot of testing on it here in the 80's. I would be happy to consult with you or hear from you to give you further information.
Be Well.

i think from adventure that it quite is in easy terms politics. I even have standard many drug consumers that merely turn to methadone while there is no longer something available to them. the stable information is, there's a clean drug stated as syboxin that's surely and opiate blocker which in easy terms fools your ideas into questioning it quite is on an opiate and as a result no longer addictive. it is likewise greater ideal than methadone through actuality that it quite is an opiate BLOCKER you are able to't take any style of opiate jointly as youre on it or it's going to make you very ill and you will now no longer sense the effects of the opiates you took.

Have never been addicted to opiates, mainly because I have seen too many of my friends either dead or become thieving, self obsessed, low life scum.As for calling the people trying to help you "nazis",you don't have to take methadone, you could go "cold turkey",physical withdrawl is over in about 48hrs after that it's all about will power.20yrs ago they gave you a weeks supply at a time for you to self administer daily, many either abused it by drinking all in one go or sold it,now I believe you must attend a clinic daily to recieve your dose.So if you don't like it,it's up to you to change your situation, nobody else!?

It is true that opiates can take 70 years to actually kill you! Drug policies are paranoid people using power to control.
In this day and age, you can use the Internet to get any point across

Just an aside - but I was told, quite seriously, that the Nazis (real ones) invented Methadone.

These people are trying to help you. Maybe your addiction is giving you a slightly biased outlook on life. You see to think it is your right to expect other people to help you out of a hole which you have dug for yourself.
Just think yourself lucky that you live in a country where people are prepared to put themselves out to help others. Maybe if you worked with them to try to get off of drugs, instead of against them you would manage to recover.
I hope you manage to get off of heroin and methadone.
