Height aside cob is smaller than a full or horse size (but larger than what most people consider a pony). Our twelve hand pony wear's a full, my 16 hand 1/2 arab wear's a cob.

When you are dealing with leather halters or english tack you will find cob size and full size. cob is reg horse size and full size is warmblood or draft size. if you have an arab or pony you will need to find smaller sizes. hope this helps
