No. Zoo people have those animals so used to living in captivity (most of them were BORN in captivity) that they wouldn't be able to fend for themselves if they were released. It would be nice not to catch anymore, though. But that will never happen.

Besides the fact that most of the animals would die for lack of knowing how and where to find food and water... And the fact that the animal wouldn't know how to avoid dangers in its "new" territory... There is also the fact that the captive animals may be carrying germs from humans back into their environment, and the new disease could wipe out the wild populations of animals.

Well since most are now born in captivity you would be releasing them right where they are....

But if you mean releasing them into the wild, their natural habitat, then No, it wouldn't be better because they are no longer able to exist in that environment and would quickly die....

It depends, if the animal is sick or injured than it can get killed but if it is fine than there really isn't an problem with letting it go. But it would be bad to take many animals just to view for are pleasure.

Sure we can do it. Only if we can retrain them to be wild animals and we leave the planet and let them have their habitat back.
We have built on their land and We are treating them just like we did the North American Indians. We push them off their land just because we think it is ours.

That'd be nice and all, but we've pretty much destroyed their natural habitats.

where exactly are they going to live? what are they going to eat? how are they going to survive? nice thought but they would be dead in a very short space of time.
