Pay as you go....no contracts to sign, you just have to buy the phone and you can load them based upon your talking habits.

Hi - Well Im on 3 and while the network isnt 100% reliable, I havent found anyone else that does that number of mins and texts for such a small amount. Re the batteries, well it depends on what phone you get! Nokia's are still the #1 for me, but Sony Erricsons are also great. Good thing with a contract is you can 'barter' for the phone you want. 3s def the best value, so have a think....Good luck!xx

T-Mobile's Flext tariff - by far the best value for money!! I'm on Flext 35 - £35 per month and get £200 worth of calls and texts per month (charged at 10p per text and 20p per min for calls) - I never seem to get thru it. And they change how much you pay each month, after 6 mnths, if you find you're not using it. Can't go wrong. ;) www.t-mobile.co.uk

I like the orange animal bundles particularly if you want to up that price to £35 per month, you can get 500 minutes 500 text and free land line calls 24 hours per day...... Take a look at the orange shop and see for yourself.... Unfortuneatley you have to sign up for 18 months for this, but on the plus side you can also get free broadband......

T-Mobile - £15.99 for 340 minutes anytime, or for 25 texts, on the Flext tariff. Price is based on direct debit payment. Excellent value for money.

I have a T mobile pay as you go. Have had it for about 2 years and have no complaints whatsoever. There are various plans to choose from. I agree with you about 3 phone, have heard lots of complaints.
