why most of youngsters prefer to work in call center , what are advantages and disadvantages?

I have worked in various call center positions for 19+ years. I have seen lots of youngsters come and go because they can't cut it. Some of the advantages are good pay, jobs availability, and valuable work experience. Some of the disadvantages are fast turn overs, highly stressful, very little flexibility and stats that must be met. A call center job may sound glamourous but it isn't. You sit in one place the entire working day except for schedule breaks. You're on the phone constantly taking back to back calls with a time limit on each call. Calls are monitored almost everyday and all objectives has to be met. You need good self discipline to work in a call center. If you are poorly self disciplined and have very little patience, a call center is not the job for you.

I would buy. I know it is a romantic notion to breed from your own horse but there are the disadvantage that you would not be able to ride your mare in later stages of pregnancy - unless you get a giant sized girth!!! There are risks involved - will the mare and foal get through pregnancy? Will they bond at birth? You never know how healthy a foal is ... all that time and money wasted with the extra feed etc and you might not have a foal at the end. And weaning is quite a painful process - and noisy! Either the mare would have to be boarded somewhere else or the foal will - more expense. You could if you feel you must breed from yours at a later date when she is older and perhaps wiser. She could breed if God forbid she had a leg injury or something. And you would need a lot of time to be around the foal.

High Income less effort in extremely comfortable accommodation. Advantage high salary with free personality development an international exposure. Disadvantage- Extravagancy, Health Hazardous, high intoxication etc.

I worked in a call center for a cable/communications company. I hated it. The job literally made me sick. Was treated like a machine by my employer and as trash by the customers. Thought that the company was out to screw its customers.

But I am not one for the service industry.

Advantage is money in the way of salary.
Disadvantage is they lose their personal and natural life.
