I am glad to say that it has bnot happened to m, but I would visit the store you purchased from (pref at a busy time of day) armed with all your documentation and then sit down with the manager and in a nice firm polite voice ask him to explain why this has taken so long - if he shirks the question calmy stand up and turn to the shoppers in the store and again clamy explain how MFI have let you down - once finisiihed smile sweetly at the manager and in a calm voice explain that your will be repeating this action
several times a day until the situation is resolved - I would also
out your complaint in writing to their head office - ensure you copy them on all documentation - trust me being polite and firm gets better results than getting angry and shouting - also stick out for some form of compensation - like a voucher or a further discount on a future purchase - after this lenght of time I would be requesting THEM to install it. Good luck and when purchasing a new kitchen again remember this some smaller companies can really compete on price and outshine on service.

Did mine from B+Q 'cause my dad works there (20% off) Had loads of minor snag, 2 week delay on some parts but most thing sorted by store, complain loud and bitterly in store and try to get a 20% reduction on the whole thing, you will be surprised how far they will go....

4 months is too long.

Send then a registered letter saying "time is of the essence on your contract with them and you require completion within 28 days"

That'll do it

Are you surprised? I have never bought something from them that has been complete. Needless to say I no longer shop there.
