I wish I had the idea for 'League of Extraordinary Gentlemen'.

It was an Alan Moore graphic novel, where he took characters from late 1800's fiction and put them into one story (Captain Nemo, H G Wells's Invisible man, Mina Harker from Dracula , Alan Quatermain & Dr Jekyll / Mr Hyde) - It was a fantastic concept that was adapted for a film (adding Dorian Gray & Tom Saywer - The had to alter the story as the GN had a lot of references to H G Wells stories but the Estate would not let then use the stories)

If I had of written it I would also have added - Frankenstein Monster, Sherlock Holmes, Harry Houdini, Tarzan, Challenger, Summerlee, Malone & Lord Roxton(The Lost World), Billy the Kidd, & Dr Livingstone !!!!!!!

What a book that would make !!!

I would have definitely loved the imagination of the author who wrote 'Lord of the Rings'. I mean where do you come up with such beautiful names and characters. I would also love to have written books by Stephen King. He is just so imaginative, freaky but imaginative.

The Giggling God, by I. T. Rose (1992-5) - Oh damn...I did write it (367 pg. manuscript), but had no joy as 1; Didn't attend Oxbridge. 2; Didn't live in London, and 3; The subject was not what they wanted. Only two said they would...but I had to pay either £3,400 - or £5,450.
It is gaining dust, but hey...don't need to dream any more!

I wish I'd written the Gormenghast Trilogy by Mervyn Peake - a truly strange world inhabited by beautifully vivid characters.

The Little Prince. That story means the world to me - I wish I had the imagination, kindness and beauty in my soul to have thought of it.

The Harry Potter books. I'd be rich!!!!
Maybe I'll write a prequel, "Harry Potter and the Diaper of Doom".

Did you know that the film "Troll" released in 1986 had two characters called Harry Potter (Jr & Sr) in it.
