if you don't run into any problems its fine. but if you do, their customer service is ABYSMAL and i also had alot of problems with their billing.

Its impossible to get any sense out of their call centres or website if you need assistance so beware

We switched from BT to Tiscali, had a couple of problems but no more than with BT. There's not much difference really except price.

it is good as long as you are technical minded because their customer service is very poor, and as for the technical help desk they can't speak or understand English properly. It might sound like I'm being rude but i am being honest for me it got to the point where i had to leave tiscali because it got too much. they are very quick to pass the buck onto BT saying they have a problem with their line when in fact it is caused by tiscali upgrading your connection for free but not checking compatibility first.

at the end of the day its up to you but personally i would rather pay more as i do now to get a better service if and when i need it.

I've had Tiscali since April, it was fast reliable, and good!
but now, it looks like someone has blown at it, and make it as slow as a turtule, so it might be fast at the begining, but it is gonna be slow afterwords, my neibghour has the same problem, people have problems with AOL as well, but I never tried it, try Wanadoo, it might be good.

Good Luck!
