It depends on the area you live in and if you have any experience relevant to the job. If this is your first job, I wouldn't expect to make too much more than minimum wage. It depends on the area though, many employers in the area I live pay at least a few dollars more than min. wage ($8-9/hour).

You should just put "negotiable" on your application.
Most places like this have a set amount that they start young/new employees on and it is usually just at minimum wage.
You will get periodic raises based on your performance throughout your first year of working. Good Luck!

Minimum wage. You probably shouldn't ask for more, there are more people your age and older that would gladly work for that much, and you'll be rejected in a heartbeat.
You probably shouldn't try barganing with pay until you actually have experience and marketable skills.

i think minimum wage is maybe $5.50 now ... so maybe they would pay you 6.00 since your only 16. but i dont think you ask... you just take what they give you
