This sounds like a personal problem. Stop taking baths and start taking showers and you may not be so tempted to grab other things.

Set a timer before you enter the shower. Wash your hair, your pits, arms, chest, back, legs and feet first. Leave the more tempting parts to last. Over time, with the help of the timer, you'll limit 'Phun-Time' to a reasonable limit and after some self-discipline is acquired, you may successfully return to taking baths.

You can grab the water but it will slip right through your fingers (just like money?).

because water is in the form of liquid, therefore it is impossible to "grab" it and hold onto it.

however, liquid leaves a residue so there will be some water clinging to your hand even though you can't physically hold it there.
