In my opinion, no! I think people who save lives (Doctors, nurses, police officers, firefighters, etc.) should have the salaries given to celebrities. Most of the celebrities are just playing off their looks and don't deserve that outrageous money.

Probably not any, really their job is lusted after by millions. I work for customer service and have to convince people all day long that I am happy and that they should stay loyal to the service and that it is an amazing fun place to work and I do this every day for over 40 hours a week. Does anyone ask me where I get my motivation from? Not really but the performances I give at wok are Oscar worthy, I say where's my gift basket, where's my fan club? haha I'm not really serious I just don't think making a movie and learning lines and taking direction could be all that hard with the money they are recieving.
cheers

I do not think any celebrity is worth all that money. You have some actors that get paid that are not movie stars that I am sure that they deserve and earn their salaries. I think that acting is a good profession and they entertain us but no one person needs to make that much money. It is obscene

Yeah loads - amongst those who are celebrated outside popular culture stardom is where to start looking. Famous scientists, healers, benefactors - all these people are celebrities in the literal sense of the word (one who is celebrated for something), and all were worth at least their salaries! Think Mother Theresa, Gandhi, Einstein, Newton, Pasteur, etc etc.

Yes of course there is but we are still waiting for them to be born You only have to catch a fleeting glance of a old tin can on TV and that is a Celeb .The only thing is the old tin can if you bang it. Makes a better noise than so called Celebs today .

I think Adam Sandler deserves his. And even though Jessica Simpson seems to be a ditz, sh ehas her own clothing line, make-up line, shes an actress a singer. The girl is smart and can obviously do anything. Yah that pout can probably get her what she wants but she's damn good at it.

I wouldn't know, as I have no interest in such things. Plus, it's impossible to say from what you see of them in the media-it may not be a true represantation of them at all. Anybody who does a lot of charity work is good for me, like Elton John.

No. I wish they would learn to keep their traps shut as well. Bono should keep his trap shut until he writes a descent album again. Mother Theresa Geldolf should do the same! Hang Robbie! Throw Simon Cowell to the Lions. The Osbounes should implode! Oooooh i'm in a bad mood

Yep. Why do no longer they provide that away. they ought to provide maximum of that tot people who do no longer earn any. that's what Obama needs. i think of lots of them are hypocrites besides/ They host charity activities to get followers and supporters to donate money to their famous charity or reason. they do no longer look to be giving to charity you're. they're millionaires and billionaires accumulating your money to grant to charity and calling it giving back. in the event that they have been truly giving back that would donate a million or billion of their own. i think they're entitled to what they earn yet get off the giving back. The followers are doing the giving and a few of them are quite making ends meet.
