Yep a song of mine. It's about love between anyone. Freinds and family it's for all basically.
This is it-
I see
"I see the sun in the sky
I see the rainbow in the distance
But above all
I see your love glowing for me."
I wish could transfer the song unto Answers. I really love singing it.

â« Ha !!!! â«
Yes i have RainGirl !!!!! â«
They are more like little operas
about me loves and crushes
that have honored my life,
I'm working on one now combining
a past love & a secret crush.
If they would hear the piece each
would think: Ouuu, thats about me !!!!
When actually it is about both of them!!
I remember when my ex was coming down
to vist i wrote one in about 20 minutes,
it was easy because the words were like
as if she were right here and i was speaking
to her. And what has happened in the 30 years
since we have seen each other.
And no, she never has heard it, i'm much too
shy to play in front of anyone.
The music was something like
10cc would come up with, with alot of changes
& different time signatures. â«
Sir Paul would be proud of the arrangement !! â«
And nope,
she has never heard any of the songs i wrote for her,
much too shy to play in front of people!!
I have a friend or two who i test out the material on,
and so far i always get a big thumbs up !!!
It seems i am a cross between:
The Beatles, George Harrison, 10cc, Gentle Giant,
Yes, The Left Banke, ELO
and Frank Zappa without the blues !!!
â« Cheers RainGirl â«

I have written a number of ballads on my guitar and there is one in particular that I used to use on certain women to score with. I used to say that I wrote it for them and then I would leave them and do the same thing to the next woman that I met. Pretty bad huh? But I don't do that anymore I think I'll stay with the woman that I have been seeing for the past 2 years and write her an even better song just for her and her alone.

Oh yeah. I thought I was gonna be the next Mr Big with songs like "Fallin' In Love Again Blues" and "Followin' Your Every Step" - not a stalker-song(!), but a kind of friendship-love song. As for poetry, I've written volumes of it for the woman who is now my wife - in fact, as she used to live in the States and I was in the UK, it was a poem called The Dream Of You that helped us admit our feelings to each other - and which I subsequently used as one of te readings at our wedding. Was really good fun, cos people kept coming up to me after the ceremony, askng me where I'd got it from.
Have you written one? Or are you looking for advice on how to do it? Or just sharing the embarrassment factor?

THE DREAM
I once had a dream, when my world fell apart...
I would never fall prey to an open heart!
One heart, one house with children to raise,
makes it much harder to show them the ways.
Once you're there, you've been there before...
makes it much harder to open the door.
I've loved, I've lost, will I ever see....
what true meaning love could ever be?
I now have a dream, and I truly believe...
for that love I once lost I will someday retrieve!
To strengthen your heart, and understand love...
takes faith in yourself and the good Lord above!

I've written over 150 songs (along with the music, thank you very much) and I'd estimate about 70% of them are about crushes/love and more often heartbreak.
I've got one song called Frigid, dickteasing, icequeen, *****.

Oh yeah, plenty especially when I was a teen. But I actually just wrote one a while back about my current fiance. Writing is good for you to express your feelings and sometimes you might just surprise yourself.
