Imagine if someone offered you £1,000,000 but said you would have to be shot in 5 years. Is it better to have 5 brilliant years or to live longer and suffer 50 dull years?

No, never! I would not accept any deal that would make me have to shorten my life. I have children and I want to see my children grow up.

Don't think you'd get a brilliant 5 years on just £1 million. Technically you need at least £3.2 million these days to live a 'millionaire's lifestyle'.

In 5 years you could have made a million for yourself and have the rest of your life still ahead of you.

I'll take it provided that you gurantee that I'll not die before 5 years !
Well, where else you get such a gurantee along with a million pounds. Infect you know best part of this deal is not a million pound but the fact that no one can kill you in next 5 years.. you can change the world and the histroy man.. in that time.. if you are immortal for 5 years !!! .. :-)

According to Indian philosophy what you do in this lifetime will determine your body in the next life time.

So I'm going to go with the 50 dull years. Imagine what you will be if you willingly accept death?

No i wouldn't because money would not make me happier. It may take away alot of the pressures of life but wouldn't give me happiness. Plus, who says that the next 50 years of my life will be dull? Life is what you make it. And i want to live a long life.

People like you for what you have accomplished and not by your material possessions so i'll stick with the 50 years of a dull life. Life is too fragile so why end it for money.

I would not take the money. Who would say you would suffer for the 50 (or however many) years? Besides, your money would be tainted by the knowledge of your impending death, so I don't think you would be able to enjoy yourself that much (I'd probably use a lot of the money to hire bodyguards and bullet proof vests if that were the case, and that's not fun, is it?).

Keep the money, I would rather have my life than any amount of money, what makes you think anyone is going to have 50 dull years left of their life, if they use there life properly it will never be dull.

I can not imagine you'd have so much fun knowing that you were going to die, so 50 years of crap TV will have to do
