haha trust a gooner to notice this, as a west ham fan its not good but then only a year ago they were calling for pardew's head and he turned us around he will do it again. and also another two words to say to you george graham (the only manager stupid enough to get caught). as for dowie he has an easier time of it than roeder because the expectations at newcastle are enormous. but i hope they all do well if im honest.

I dont think it has much to do with the managers at the club. Alan Pardew managed West Ham very very well last season, landing in a very respectable palce in the table considering they were only promoted the season before. I think the problem at West Ham right now is the two Argentinians and alot of talk about a possible take over. The two Argies have come in they are supposedly two of the best players in the world, but in my opinion they went to West Ham to put themsleves in the window for a bigger club. As for the take over talk, that is going to unsettle any player and manager. With a new owner often comes a new manager and a flood of new players- ask Mr Abramovich!!!!

thats unfair to say that.

you cant just focus on what is happening now you have to think about what they have done for the clubs over a set period of time.

Firstly pardew brought west ham up from the championship took you to the FA cup final okay you lost but look at all the revenue he has brought in.

Roeder took over from souness in a position where no manager would want to be in the bottom 5 of the premiership and performing badly the team having no confidence and now look where they finished in the top 8 and gained a place in europe.

Iain dowie to be fair has only been at charlton little over 2 months now he hasnt had the chance of working with the players as much as he would of liked, he hasnt been able to find a squad yet that will perform to what is expected of them also just like footballers the managers have to settle in and get used to the invironment at a club.

they all have contrasting pasts and look to have a bright future have fair in them its early in the season and unfair to pass judgement on them until christmas.

Roeder has done it to himself. at every club he has been to he has done badly and has quite a funny record.
When he was at Watford in his first season he came 7th with them then the following season he got them relegated.
When he was at West Ham in his first season he came 7th with them then the following season he got us relegated.
Then he took over Newcastle and in his first season he took them to 7th so as expected he is in the relegation zone. He is the spooky one.
