I asked a question yesterday 'Why is a man being kicked in the crotch so funny?', I was watching the Simpsons episode where Homer is a film judge and there was a film of a man just getting hit in the crotch, which was funny, Homer thought so to, but I just wondered why people thought this was so funny, so why did I get a violation notice because of this question?

Go figure! Maybe someone read your question in the "wrong" spirit and took offense, or perhaps suspected you were suggesting people should go around kneeing guys in their goolies.
It seems like a fair question to me, especially considering some of the total rubbish that's left on!

No idea, I tihnk Yahoo Answers have a random abuse program.
I've had a question removed for suggesting that someone was stupid, but his prior question suggesting i be killed was not removed.
YA only have themselves to blame for YA decending into a chat room rather than a forum for sharing knowledge.

Sometimes I learn things on Q&A, sometimes I think I'm on the cyber space with mature people, but there are allot of babies on this site, and people report for crazy reasons. I know what you mean, personally I think there should be no abuse, simply just a Q&A.

maybe they didnt watch the show,so they thought that kicking the crotch is a serious one and not the joking manner that you watch in Simpson...

too many petty minded people today have no sense of humour.
I`ve seen questions on here that would make a Redneck blush but no-one seems to complain.Yet some of my more innocent questions have been reported.

It irratates me that they just seem to take the whiners word for it, I have had questions removed that were quite clearely questions for the reason "it's not a question"! Ugh.
