Top is a verb and a noun. topped is the past tense.

top as a noun...definitely no past tense but as they have said if it is use as a verb (transitive or intransitive use)... the past tense form is "topped"...

Topped would be the only word that comes to mind. But you would hardly use it in a sentence.
