about 3 dollars depending on the change.

I used to work at Domino's, and the average tip was about $2-$3. I don't know how other pizza companies work, but Domino's drivers get a small amount paid to them per mile they drive, (ex. .30 cents). They've also implemented a flat delivery charge, but I'm not sure if that's a flat rate or a percentage.
Some people are just more generous tippers. My rule of thumb for any food I order, whether in a restaurant or delivered, is to double the tax. But like someone earlier answered, I tip the delivery driver a little more if it is raining because I know from experience, rainy days are always busier at a pizza place. No one wants to go out to get their own food in the rain.

i tip 20% of the price of the order. So if it comes to $20, then I tip 4. I also tip well at restaurants- 20% or more depending on service. I used to be a server, so I know how hard it is when you don't make very much, and live off tips, and when you get a nasty tip, it can ruin your day.

I usually tip 15-20%. I realize the driver is getting paid from his employer, but in the food business ie: waitresses; bus boys etc, are probably very low on the pole as far as hourly wage goes. And 15% of a $16.00 pizza is only about $2.40. No big deal.

i have found that the almighty buck says alot to people.....if its a place you order from on a regular basis, tipping and being pleasant goes a long way. (especially if the driver is driving in the rain) i get faster/better service. if it's a repeat driver i've even gotten better deals(a coupon i didn't have or an extra liter of soda). this works in other industry too.......i no longer wait 45 minutes for a cab nor do i get charged for a cup of coffee after my meal. yes.....there are certain circumstances that a tip is not awarded, but i have been lucky and that's few and far between

Two bucks and change. Then again, it's only one pizza and maybe some breadsticks. It works out to over 10%.
And no, I don't base it on the order taker on the phone. The driver's only job is to deliver it. If the shop screws up my pizza, I just call to complain, but not about the driver.

For deliveries 10% or $2.00--$3.00. Dining in I tip 15-20%. For fine dining restaurants a minimum of 20%-25%.

the last time I ordered from dominos, the pizza guy included his tip in the price he quoted me! I realized it later. I ended up tipping him like six dollars on a fifteen dollar bill.
actually I realized it then, that he was saying something that was more than what I thought my bill was. but I didn't say anything about it and I should have

Three or 4 dollars if I order delivery, but I usually just go out and pick it up myself because I'm cheap like that! :-)
