North Carolina; so I'm just north of you. It's almost winter here. I live 1 1/2 hours from the NC mountains..so we do get snow here. And I am looking forward to it to. I LOVE snow. It's cold right now with a freeze warning out..mowing season is over here/no more garden stuff is coming in. Leaves are just about off the trees. Temp is 31 degrees.

It is fall here in Ohio, but we had a snowfall today. The flakes were giant and they melted as soon as they hit the ground. Most of the trees have already changed and they are gorgeous. But some are losing all of their leaves and it's really getting to be winter.

Here in Finland it's very late fall. First snowflakes have already shown their faces but it's mainly just damp and gray with a few leaves on the trees and some very tough flowers.

Well, this won't make sense to anyone outside of the state, but it is truly Michigan right now. 35 and snowy one moment, 60 and sunny the next. Autumn is baffling in this crazy 'ol state. I complain, but I wouldn't have it any other way. This is my home.
