The galleries shopping centre is the cheapest option, however queues can be long (although they do move at a steady pace). My top tip would be to enter the car park from the temple-way underpass, or the fairfax street entrance. I would avoid using the top of union street entrance as this can get overly congested with other traffic (not heading for the car park).
Due to the current renovation of Bristol City centre I would guess that the car park will be less busy than normal, although the build-up to Christmas may have already started.
There is also an NCP off fairfax street, this is going to be the most convenient option, but it is not cheap. Having said that the NCP option may prove cheaper for shorter stays (under 1 hour).
If you do not mind a longer walk then Frogmorton Street car park is massive and council run (i.e. very cheap to encourage local trade). The Frogmorton street car park is ideally situated for more touristy locations in Bristol and the main theater, it is about a 10 minute walk to the main shopping centre.

My advice is to use the Park and Ride. There is one at Avonmouth, one at Long shton and there's a third pne but I can't for the life of me remember where! I use the Avonmouth one, free parking and a £2 bus fair (that is return!) so its much cheaper than parking in town. Other than that the Galleries are probably the cheapest multi storey.

Have a nice day in Bristol!

I always thought Bristol had it`s own bus service for the centre to stop people from driving their cars into the centre in the first place? So unless you are delivering to a business I would have to say nowhere?

Try parking in Bedminster - you can walk into Broadmead from there. Failing that leave your car and get the Bus.
