I started another question about the fact that satin and nylon panties are becoming extinct in our society today. Fullback panties seem to be going that route also. All we have left now is skimpy microfiber thongs, cotton boyshorts that remind me of my tity-whities I wore as a boy, and boxers for women. What happened to sexy, shiny, panties that left something to the imagination? Am I the only guy that seems to care? These new panties are a major turnoff for me. What do you wear and does your boyfriend or husband have a preference?

I've heard from many women that they are afraid of a yeast infection from satin panties but if satin panties have been around for decades why now is anyone noticing? Most yeast infections are brought on by having more than one partner in a short amount of time. Anyways, I had a girlfriend that wore very sexy satin panties at work but would switch to cotton to avoid the infection thing. What I don't get is women don't even try to turn on the man anymore even in bed. You can't tell me that wearing a sexy satin panty over white cotton boyshorts for 20 minutes before bed is going to cause an infection. Just some thoughts I wanted to add.

I like a nice pair of 100 % nylon or satin panty in a hi cut or brief style. I am not afraid to show panty lines. If I'm wearing something all day them I want something that is comfortable, not something riding up my butt crack. My man loves the fact that I wear granny panties and he loves the soft feel of satin or nylon panties. And by the way I'm 43 and still in excellent shape.

i enjoy wearing sexy satin and nylon panties. i do wear them almost everyday except the difficult days of the month. i don't think there are infections related to the satin and nylon panties. if there are then it is a matter of personal hygiene.

To speak frankly, what do you find more sexy. Satin underwear or gruesome infection? For some women this the only option(cotton), but gratefully I am not one of them. I wear sexy things for my man, but not for work. When I got to work, I am all about the comfort.

I have two large drawers with dividers full of panties, I have them sorted by color. I love to buy panties. I have boy shorts to crotchless. Depending on what my outfit is for the day, what I'm doing and how I feel will determine what panty I wear for the day.

...actually it depends on two things for me,...the outfit i plan on wearing, and of course when my menstrual cycle will begin...
...trust me, sexy lingerie makes us feel sexy when we're wearing it,...and yes hon, we wear it for our significant others to pique their intrest as well...
...satin panties are definitely not extinct, "vs" has a wonderful selection available, and not too terribly pricy...
...the ultimate decision about the type and style of panties worn lies with the grrrl wearing them,...so, if you have a gf?, tell her what you would really like to see her wear,...just make sure you offer to purchase the panties for her...*wink*

I wear granny undies. They're the basic cotton (comfortable yet colorful) style I've been wearing my entire life. I'm not one for change. :-)
