Aim: How do external factors such as climate, predators, competitors or access to food affect that live in a pond habitat.

Hypothesis: There will be small fish because it is easier for them to find their food.

Materials:
•Net
•Pond
•Animals

Method:
a)Put the net in the pond and get it out again.
b)Check if you caught any fish or fish food.
c)Record your observations.
d)Repeat steps a-c 5 times.
e)Record your information in a data table.
f)Look in the pond 5 times for fish and fish food.
g)Record your information in the same data table, in which you had to record your observations of the scoops.

Results:
The 1st time we put the net in and out of the pond, we only caught 3 tiny fish. The 2nd time we caught tadpoles. The 3rd and 4th time we caught seaweed and sea algae. On the 5th time we only caught dirt.
For the visual examination the 1stand 4th time we saw many fish. For the 2nd and 3rd time we saw lots and lots of algae. We saw lots of seaweed on all looks.

This is all wrong. The Aim of the experiment should be - Aim: To determine how external factors, such as climate, predators, competitors or access to food, affect life in a pond habitat.

Now the way you have conducted your experiment has only shown you what is in the pond currently from a number of random samples. You have not recorded anything to do with the weather/climate, temperature of the water etc. There is nothing there to do with predators, be they external to the pond, birds (herons), mink etc. or part of the pond habitat, water nymphs, dragon fly larvae and so on. Also there is no mention of the habitat surrounding the pond which may have an effect pond habitat itself.

Also you make no mention of a control to your experiment, a known base of data from which you can determine variations in your experimental habitat.

All a bit pedantic this, and it doesn't answer your question, which it can't given the information provided, however I hope it does point you in the right direction as to what you should be doing.

Your conclusion should be if you Hypothesis is correct or not and if so why.

Sorry I don't mind helping but I'm not doing your home work, that's what learning is all about.
