Yes, I saw a hilarious video once where a guy lit one while he was face up supporting himself with his feet and one hand.

Hot air and flame travel upward, pubic hair is quite flammable and boy parts are very heat sensitive. I'm chuckling just remembering the guys yelps. It was nice to see idiocy so quickly and justly rewarded.

Yes it is flammable and contains both methane and hydrogen sulfite...both are flammable., During surgery on the rectum and large intestine, physicians must be cautious or the patient can explode. We use electro-cautery to burn blood vessels and the spark could ignite the gas, so prior to burning, we clear out the gas by using suction and air. Years ago students often thought it waas amusing to ignite their intestinal gas, but they were foolish to risk an injury. Some Australian scientists believe that the methane produced by grazing animals is causing part of the air pollution to the world. Methane is a simple gas (CH4) and is related to the Butanes, propanes, heptanes. There is a recycling unit available to use the fecal material from a home's bathroom to produce sufficient gas for heating the house as well as heating water in the water tank. H2S or hydrogen sulfide has a rotten egg smell and is produced by the decomposition of many things.

flatus is composed of a number of components. Believe it or not you can get a breakdown of the gas content of farts from NASA. I'll supply a link in the source data, below. According to table 6 on page 16 of the report, farts are about 60% Nitrogen and about 28% Hyrogen and Methane -- I doubt they'll explode outright.

Yes, it's methane, which is flammable. However, it's only a tiny quantity, so I wouldn't worry about it.

I saw the aftermath of a fatboy farting like mad in the toilet and holding it in on purpose with his fat buns & legs.
when he lit a match & dropped it in, it blew the toilet to pieces and shredded his buns.
