The Chernobyl disaster was an eye opener for the careful handling of nuclear materials. Accidents will certainly be widespread and some Bible people are referring to it as disaster that are predicted in the Revelation.

conjecture.
Similar conclusions were made about the BLACK plague almost 1,000 years ago... a lot of time has passed since and we still haven't seen the end all the hype around this Bible keeps predicting is "nigh". Don't hold your breath.

interesting thought ... but i think the bible account describes a much larger destruction and death... wasnt it 1/3 of mankind that died or somthing like that? ... maybe it could be from nuclear fallout though who knows ..
