A license isn't necessary but some form of insurance is, i.e. public liability, incase anyone decides to sue. Also, get a qualification behind you, like an nvq, many colleges run these course yearly. I'm a beauty therapist and really enjoy wot i do. so goodluck and enjoy!!

You don't have to be licensed - but I think your clients might prefer that you had some qualifications and/or professional experience.
You should think about doing an evening class and getting a diploma or something - something you can at least hang on the wall.

Yes, you need to go to school and get lisenced. Check out cosmetology classes at your local colleges as well massage therapy classes. There is way more to it than you think.

I would want to see a qualification, wouldnt let anyone loose on me without one. Try a local health farm, they take on new therapists and boy does it show, but its good learning experience.

Not if you watch Hollyoaks. Blonde hair and a nice pair of breasts would help on your CV.
