The Coalition of the Willing, as I understand, included some countries that never sent troops; they just said they'd be willing to. Vietnam won't be invited to Bush's party though, because the US will be leaving if the Iraqi government doesn't meet deadlines it's being given now. This is NOT the same as announcing a time line for US withdrawals because these will depend upon what the Iraqis do first. Did you ever get the impression that some of Bush's staff used to work in public relations and advertising?

Vietnamese soldiers are the best to fight the Iraqis because they were the only ones not beaten by the Americans in war.

Bush is a rogue president who is abusing his position as world leader for his own personal gain. Since day one, his response to the hornets nest he's kicked up has been "send more bombs ...and more oil tankers" so the US can deepen its straw into the sands of the fertile crescent and make a bunch of his buddies back home extremely rich.

I don't think the Vietnamese would even consider aiding America with its military objectives. Also because the war is dead end street.
