If someone answers it when you call then you know your phone's been stolen. Pretend like you're a friend of you. Start telling the guy that Sammy got busted and the cops have all our phone numbers. Tell him you're so scared, you don't want to go to jail. You think they traced you by your cell phone and you're on the run. Freak this guy out so bad he'll wish he never stole that thing.

Try calling it; you might get lucky and hear it ringing. If it is the type with a GPS locator in it (many have them now) you can call your provider and see if they can find it using their system. Even if they charge you for the service, it's probably better than buying another phone. If it's REALLY lost, and you've tried everything, then report it as lost (or stolen, if you think that could have happened), and get a new one.

If you were able to get the serial no. of your cell phone unit, report it to the service provider network so they can totally block the unit. Once it has been blocked, the unit is deemed useless hence can't be further used by whoever is in possession of it.

I always misplace mine so I phone it, if it is off, I try to remember the last place I had it, if I lost it outside I would phone the mobile co. to cancel or stop my line.

1. try to call your cell phone or have someone call it for you.. then it may be easy to find. If that does not work
2. Call the phone company have them cancel your phone and get a new one

Call it to try and locate the ring. If u had it on silent or off, that sucks. Otherwise, check with your cell provider on how to file an insurance claim with them (they may need a police report that it was lost or stolen) and pay the fee to have another one sent to you. Hopefully u have insurance on it. And just so u know, they usually replace with Refurbs.

The first thing you should do is continously call your phone. And if you cant find it then call your company and disconnect that account. If you have phone insurance call your provider and tell them you lost your phone and then theyll start the process of using your insurance.

Ask somebody to call you, and if you can hear it or if somebody picks up, at least you know where it is if it hasn't died out of battery.
Call the company to put a hold like the person said above.
Retrace your steps and check key locations

some companies allow you to put a temporary block on outgoing calls with a predefined code. That way you can do it even if customer service is closed.
right now, though your only hope is to call customer service if they are open.

either ring your network provider and report it lost thus stopping someone using it and you being held responsible for costs or try ringing it.. maybe someone will answer it and you may be in luck and able to retrieve it, though of course this may be a long shot
