Now I've had so many people tell me that integra is better then civic hb and civic hb is better then integra now here are the questions

which one is lighter?
which one is the best for racing and daily driving?
which one has better hp stock?
which one has better torque stock?
which one can you build more hp with? NO SWAPING
which one is cheaper?

put the answers in that order and if you don't know then do not answer it at all and both cars are 5 speed.

Good Luck & Thank You

which one is lighter? Civic Hatchback is by far lighter than an Integra...you have to be an idiot not to realize that *cough*Steven*cough*

which one is the best for racing and daily driving? For racing the Civic, for daily driving the Integra

which one has better hp stock? The Integra

which one has better torque stock? The Integra

which one can you build more hp with? Well, if there is no swapping...The Integra

which one is cheaper? The Civic Hatchback

Well if I was going to swap an engine into a hatchback I would go with a B16A. Its cost effective and a great engine to play with.
If I were swapping into an Integra I would probably go with a B18C or maybe a CR-Vtec B20 for both.

Its really hard to compare these two cars. It basically comes down to preference. Some like the Integra and some like the Civic. I personally love my 2000 Si Coupe and it can blow the doors off any Integra that comes my way (Unless its turbo or they are spraying...Im all-motor)
I have a friend with a 97 GS-R and he loves that car equally...it really doesnt matter what car you pick...it is the way you build it. Both offer pro's and cons, but in the end...if you build it right...it wont matter. They are all Honda's at the end of the day too.

Integra hands down

this is from personal experience and opinon..ive owned both.

The integra is LIGHTER!

the integra is better for daily driving..its more comfortable..more classy...better gas mileage..can move out of its own way..the civics cant.

Integra has better HP stock.. civic owners have touse integra motors in there cars to get HP

Civic has no torque..integra will throw u from your seat

Integra is much easier to modify with simple things and will gain much HP. integra parts are widely available and are cheap.

civics are cheaper and widely found for sale. but are crap. You can get an integra for real inexpensive if you find one. always check KBB and carfax first.i paid 6,000 for both of my integras (separatly and different years..both from dealers. the 96 coupe has 95K miles had 72K @ purchase in 03..my 98 sedan has 60K miles. 52K at purchase the begining of the year(06) its my daily driver. both are well modified)

I own a 98 integra/96 integra have owned a 95 honda civic.

Any of the 2 is good but just get what you really want then make it fast. Why just have a fast car and no matter what you do if you aint kswapping then you better just go for the looks because thats where the trend is heading, i have a eg with a gsr swap and its fast but I feel it aint all that fast so just go for the looks then do speed later

Man, just buy a Gsr. With the gsr you already have all the good things like the b18c1 engine, one of the best racing engines, leather seats, four disc anti-lock brakes, hatchback. All you have to do is build it up from there.
