I would like to know ,by whom? Having been all over Europe and The Far East and Israel I can say that the American Press is the Best of all. Some papers follow the left and some the right. You buy the paper that you like. Never being to Ghanna, I can not comment. American newsmen are the smartest out there and at least there is no sensureship. Criticize whomever you want, you won't end up in jail or worse.

Most of the media in the US today is in the pocket of either the government or the large businesses which is pretty much who is running our country anyway. So, no - I would not say that it is a fair and unbiased media. And even if they weren't being told what to say by the Bush Administration - they would still be after nothing but ratings and would tell any story if they thought that it would get them more ratings. Sad really, but that is why I get all of my news from the internet - way more fair and unbiased that what's here in our newspapers and our TV.

America's media is as unbiased as a pregnant woman in her last trimester is skinny.
Bush and his administration will try to hang you if you publish anything that would make them look bad, wrong or that would result in the loss of support of the war. Freedom of the press is kind of joke nowadays.

Never believe like a blind to this bullshit. I guess you are clever enough to judge the situation by yourself. USA are one of the most free and democratic nations, so those ratings definetely are bullshit. And I'm not American! They said the same about Italy for Berlusconi's televisions; well, it is all fake too.

I think the article is greatly flawed. They got their stats flawed. america's press is by and large free, fair and undeterred.
