you can download them but don't share them. keep your share folder empty. Make a seperate Music folder. I keep mine on a seperate harddrive.

Yes it's legal. Copyrighted material can be copied for personal use and shared for personal use if no money changes hands. Where Napster got in trouble was by putting their computer in the middle. The courts see things the way they see them.

you can download for free, but it MAY be illegal sharing as many of the artists will not be getting their royalties, and this is the reason for the downfall of napster and others. if you use it just be aware of piracy laws...
