I dont think they would be comfortable. They would be appalled at the mess that is America. This is not true democracy, where the too much power is invested in one person, the President. The President can get away with anything. There should be more checks and balances. One religion, forget it America was made up of different ethnic groups and cultures, so there have to be differenct languages and religions. Its a huge melting pot , to use a cliche.

i think of they could be fairly chuffed that issues held at the same time. while they made this united states, they did no longer get to make the regulations they needed, they have been given to make the regulations that they could get the votes for. case in point, they could no longer abolish slavery in the form as a results of fact extra beneficial than a million/3 of the representatives on the constitutional convention have been slave vendors, so as a replace they wrote in a shrink to how long the african slave commerce ought to proceed. this form abolishonists could be slightly appeased, and slave vendors have been slightly appeased. It wasn't a win for the two section, despite if it develop right into a compromise. we've a huge united states, with lotsa diverse individuals. we're not gonna get alongside each and all of the time. We certainly are not gonna get our way each and all of the time. yet we do compromise now and back. i think of as a results of fact we've held this united states at the same time see you later, and due to our tolerance of different cultures, races, and genders, the founding fathers could be pleased with what we've carried out.

I think they may no longer recognize America as the same country they had fought for. Everything they warned the people of America about has come to pass through apathy by the public.

Diversity is good, it teaches us many things, and enriches our societies.
The Foundling Fathers could never have imagined todays society as it would have been beyond their experience or understanding. But from what I know of the constitution (and I'm just a Limey!) I think they would have said that it embraced their sentiment...freedom!

I doubt that they'd know this country as it is today, they'd wonder what happened to the consitution, and would likely with their aversion to payoing taxes or having their liberties removed be plotting again
