Hey everyone,
I just found out that I am pregnant and we are going to see my husbands family at a halloween party next weekend and I dont even have a costume yet... Does anyone have any ideas of what I should dress up as to kinda give them all the clue that we are having a baby??? I wanna do something different I am a plus size woman also.. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated

How about a big test stick? Make like a long white box with a fuzzy top and have either a big pink plus sign or the 2 pink lines. That would be hilarious!

I have two ideas,well, after I thought, there is more than 2 suggestions, they may not be considered PC, but one is as a native American Indian, a dark hair wig w/braids, brown dress-imitation suede, with a papoose on your back, or tie a baby on in a sling. Could be done cute.
The other one is come in a big housecoat, hair in curlers, a pillow inside, w/a baby sling or baby doll backpack.
Or, come as an English Nanny, like the one on TV. Bring a baby stroller [can be a toy one if you don't have a full size one yet.]
Whatever you choose, have fun with it! I think it's a cool way to tell your in-laws the news.
You could bring them "granny & grandpa" buttons for their costume. Hope you are given lots of Ideas.
Or come as Raggedy Anne.
They have costumes of great big diapers, even in the plus sized costumes. Get a baby rattle, bottle, tie onto your costume.
Make a great big ? mark to cover you up, then when they ask what the question mark means, you can have them guess or tell them right away, whichever you want. HAVE FUN ;-)

I would go as maybe a,
* bottle
* newborn baby (binki, pj's etc.)
* a stork (sp?)
The best one i have ever seen, and actually did, was
* A pregnancy Test. : )
But you could check out this site also.
If you need any design ideas for the test, I just used the same one i took, as a model, and used a few card board boxes, and white spray paint, and blue and pink childs paint. Good luck

i like the test stick one lol and dont listen to anyone that tells you that you shouldnt tell anyone yet, thats just stupid. you tell whoever you want when you want. we told everyone as soon as the test stick said positve, i mean really its not going to be any harder to go through if you miscarry just because people know that you were pregnant. and regardless you have no reason to think that will happen. think positive happy thoughts. much luck to you

Do you remember that bit in "Alien", where the alien pushes out through the stomach?
Maybe you could do something along those lines.... But with a baby instead of an alien..

you really shouldn't be telling people that you are pregnant until you've passed the first trimester...a lot can happen in the early stages, including miscarriage... keep it to yourself a while before telling everyone...
