My heater doesent work in my car and its starting to get cold. I want to invest in one of those heaters you plug in the cigarette lighter. I had one that was a piece of junk that barely did anything.
Anyone know of a good one?

Well I would suggest fixing the heater how ever if thats not an option buy you a good AC/DC converter plug into your lighter and then plug a normal household ceramic fanforced heater in , and drive away nice warm and toasty.

Get new heater plugs through expert mechanic, I think they put fuse also with it so that plug life is more. Heater plug should be of good quality ment for vehicle others will not work.

Definitely get your car heater fixed, these plug in things are pretty much all junk.

Ur lighter is usually only 20 amps which isn't enough to drive a fan and heater element at the same time. Might work better if its wired direct to battery. Don't know of any that can produce any heat with only 25 amps...

change you theromastat that is usually the problem get a 185 temp for winter and a 160 temp for the summer the 185 stays closed till the engine temp gets to 185 then it opens up and lets the hot water into the raditor but until then you will get hot water into the heater core and turn on the fan and move the rod over to heat

they are junk its probably your heater core which are very inexpensive....the only problem is that they can be tricky to install but if youve got the time and some basic mechanical skills you can do it for cheap
