It's got integrated speakers and some audio inputs out back. I need a driver to get the speakers going. The makers (IBM), IMO, are idiots for not backing their product; no driver there. I tried driverguide and countless other sites that I searched on the web. If anyone can help it'd be greatly appreciated, thanx.

I have a driver for my sound card, no problems there. My PC is unable to read the fact that my monitor is multi-media.

you need a driver for your soundcard whether it is integrated or not ... first if it is integrated you will find the driver associated with ur motherboard manufacturer or the box itself .. if you go to the manufacturers support site for the pc you should find the audio driver ... if the soundcard is a pci card then unplug ur pc and take it out and look for a manufacturer and part number and start googling until you find a driver ...
