He broke my heart but didn't break me.And because of the close encounter with love I didn't ever get close to feeling it again for several years.When he broke my heart he sent me this song on a tape and when I hear it to this day it does make me cry.Not because he left me and vice versa but because of what might have been or could have been the possibility of US I guess...
11 yrs have passed and though I am happily in love and married I can't help but to wonder every now and again when the mood strikes me as Melancholy..What if?

Wow, do I only get to pick one? I have two right now that really pull at my heart strings. The first one is Hate Me by Blue October. I'm not sure what the song is about yet but it totaly reminded me of my ex word for word. We are back together now so I get a second chance with my lost love. The other song that comes to mind is Far Away by Nickelback and I still think of my previous ex when I hear that one although it's been a long time since I've seen her.

"Traces", by the Classics IV.
The singer is looking at a faded photo with creases on it and remembering "her" . He has the ring she used to wear, and ribbons from her hair wishing she would come back and dry the traces of tears from his eyes.

I didn't want to clutter up the site with a big long list. The Melody is really quite mellow and sweet while the words are sorrowful. Hope you get to hear it someday. I notice that Gloria Estafan also has recorded it but I haven't heard her version.

That song by Toni Braxton, I think it's called "Breathe Again," always reminds me of my college love because it was on the first time he kissed me and the lyrics are also very emotional about our whole break-up.

my boo and where were you when we were getting high i was 15 and in love with my bf then teenager years i do still think of him but i do not get all teary eyed or anyhting i just wonder how he is doing and all. I have a wonderfull husband now and kids. I just wonder if he has a good of a life as i do.
