If you've already sent the e-mail, there is no way to confirm if the recipient has read it. When you send an e-mail, you can request a read receipt from the recipient. When the recipient receives the e-mail they will be prompted to send the read receipt. If they approve the read receipt, you'll get an e-mail confirming that they have read the e-mail. If they deny the read receipt, you will not receive confirmation.
