I think it is something like REALM or realm music. It is supposed to be very complicated but safe. You can get karaoke files from other ppl online just by typing quiery in. It is my understanding it's free to use but the information on how to get it is what cost money. Any useful info on karaoke programs or peer to peer would be great. I am starting my business and could use the advice. If anyone is in the biz and can help out I would appreciate it.

You're on the right track although it has nothing to do with DOS. Karaoke-Realm is one of the karaoke file sharing channels in the IRC network. Anyone can join these channels but it can be quite difficult for the average computer user to set up and configure the IRC client software. There is a company that sells a kit that contains all the needed software along with easy to follow step by step instructions.
