I love "Sophie Scholl" (German) and "Life is beautiful" (Italian). Both very moving and deep and I had flashbacks about them for days afterwards. "Run Lola Run" is also very clever.

Light entertainment is great and very profitable, but these kind of films are what makes movies a type of art.

i think that a lot of japanese 'tartan exteme' movies are pretty cool - very gory though!!!stuff like 'battle royal', etc!!!but french films like 'amelie' ar epretty cool!!
