Anything related to security, safety, or health is profitable because as big corporations and local governments become increasingly more paranoid about terrorism, crime, disease, ID theft, corporate espionage, etc, they are willing to pay for peace of mind and a lower insurance premium.
If you can offer a product or service that provides peace of mind, Americans hand you money like its a bodily function.

you could make minature GPS guided missles.
Like real tiny ones for hobby. I would love to have some R/C plane with missles!
