I love spicy food. I use a lot of hotsauce, green pepper sauce, horseraddish, peppers, ect. in my foods. Are there any dangers in it? I'm in my first trimester...

There's no dangers in eating spicy foods, it might just cause a bit of heartburn later in your pregnancy when your baby gets bigger. There's actually an old woman's tale that if you eat spicy food in your 3rd trimester and you are a few days or weeks overdue it can help to bring on the birth of the baby.

I loved spicy spicy stuff during my first trimester as well. In my second and third trimesters, EVERYTHING gave me heartburn, so you might as well enjoy it while you can. My three month old son seems to have survived his fiery first trimester intact ;)

Not really except maybe some heart/throat burn acid reflux type stuff. If you are suseptible to that, stay away or ulcers. Other than having abnormal health problems, spicy is good for you.

No no longer often. case in point, in case you opt for to eat curry, curry can help preclude some kinds of maximum cancers. the only undesirable factor ingesting especially spiced meals reason are nausea, coronary heart burn, indegestion, diarreah, contaminated tounge(often while you're no longer used to ingesting especially spiced food), and probably a head soreness. It generally relies upon how your physique reacts to especially spiced food. Hop i helped. (Sorry if i omit spell)

Heartburn and maybe ulcers. But other than that I hear spicy foods can actually be good for you.

No problem, and if you eat spicy foods while pregnant you baby is more likely to enjoy spicey foods when they are growing up. So eat them up, but it would hurt to ask the dr next time you are in.

Only if it bothers you. If it doesn't give you heartburn or nausea, go for it.
