Assuming that nothing really bad haas happened, you must check the following. Check all the cords that connect to the computer, trace them back from the device. For example, trace the wire for the mouse back and make sure it is plugged in properly. Then do it for the keyboard, the speakers, the monitor and everything else. You may have to move the main unit so you can see what is plugged in and what isn't. It sounds like the keyboard plug came out or is loose. Check that first. remember that you can't harm the computer by plugging the wrong thing in, because everything is marked, by color, or the computer simply wont work if it is wrong. So don't be afraid to have a good look and and fix it. Good luck.

Usually the beeps that computers make in extreme situations like this are a code for what is wrong. The number and kinds of beeps it makes (for example 5 short beeps, or 1 long and 2 shorts, or whatever) will give you a general idea of the problem. Your computer's manufacturer or the BIOS manufacturer should have the "decoding" key on their website.

Sounds like you dislodged the video card, (if it has one). You'll need to open it up and re-seat the agp/pci-x card in there. Its the card where the monitor plugs into. Just unscrew the case open it up, and slightly push the video card firmly into place. If that doesn't work you might of knocked something else loose or cracked a part and may need to seek on site assistance.

When you are ready to buy a new system, go to www.stupidcheapcomputers.net. I buy all of my stuff from them.
I bought a complete, new system from them with a warranty for LESS than it would cost me to build it myself or order a custom one from the manufacturer. You can use my frequent buyer code: ATX926. That will get an additional 10% discount at checkout.
I have NEVER had any problems with anything that they have sold me and their customer service is outstanding. Those guys blow my mind.
Good luck!

Today was a horrible day for me. I don't think it was a weirdo collector deal but rather a "what can I do wrong today" deal. Maybe mine is shut off for the moment, thank god.
